Victorian Government recently announced a grant of $2,000.00 for employing small businesses to access professional advice and services to help them make informed business decisions and plan. Grant can be used to get advice or expertise provided by their qualified service provider.

How it works: –

• Grant funding will be provided to the eligible business and will receive an upfront payment of $1,000 to commence the service activity and a final grant instalment of $1,000 on the satisfactory conclusion of the service activity.

Eligibility: –

• For employing businesses
• Business must be legally structured
• Business must be registered with work safe
• Employ 1- 19 (Full time equivalent staff)
• Services must be provided by Qualified service provider
• ABN since 1 st July 2020

What services can be availed: –

• Advice and analysis regarding the management of cash flow, preparation or cash flow budgets and projections,
• Profitability analysis and formulation of financial management and/or operational business strategies,
• Strategic analysis to revise business planning and/or governance arrangements,

The program supports businesses that have faced disruptive changes caused by the COVID-19 pandemic and other factors, by improving their capability and preparedness to plan for their future or adapt their business model.

The program will close on Friday 30 September at 4:00 PM, or earlier if funds are exhausted. Applications are assessed on a first-in first serve basis.
